Marian High School in Omaha, Nebraska, officially breaks ground on the Haddix Academic Center. The Alley Poyner Macchietto Architecture designed project is scheduled to be complete in late summer of 2019 and will also feature a new entry, new chapel, new classrooms, and updates to other parts of the school.
"We have been talking about this project for two years," said Marian President Mary Higgins. "To actually see shovels, equipment, and a beam with students’ signatures on it makes it all of a sudden become real and that makes it more exciting."
MCL Construction is the Construction Manager and General Contractor for the project. Featured projects MCL Construction has completed on the Marian Campus include the Tal and Mary Jo Anderson Performing Arts Center and the recently completed chemistry labs.
This project is made possible by the Confident To Be Marian Capital Campaign that has raised close to $10 million of its $12 million goal. You can donate to the campaign by CLICKING HERE. Campaign dollars will be used for the construction project and support the endowment, providing tuition assistance for students, and raising salaries to attract and retain teachers with advanced degrees.
